Production Engineer

We are currently seeking a 'Production Engineer' to join the Turkish division of a multinational company headquartered in the UK, specialized in manufacturing electrical cables located in Çayrova, Kocaeli. This company specializes in producing high-quality electrical cables for the household appliances industries.

 QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate shoul have:

·      Graduated from engineering departments of universities, preferably in Mechanical , Electric& Electronics, Industrial.

·      Preferably 5 years of experience in procurement.

·      Excellent command of English 

·      Having knowledge and experience in Total Quality Management.

·      Having knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.

·      Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies.

·      Having knowledge about productivity, performance measurement, and improvement systems.

·      Having knowledge of ERP systems.

·      Proficiency in using MS Office programs.

·      Knowing database management systems.

·      Being able to offer ideas that can contribute to the efficient progress of activities in production at every step.

JOB DESCRIPTION

·      Ensure timely and cost-effective production of products in accordance with production plans.

·      Handle customer requests and complaints in coordination with relevant managers.

·      Organize and maintain the continuity of the company's production processes.

·      Manage productivity, motivation, and training of personnel.

·      Plan and execute maintenance activities for machinery, molds, and equipment.

·      Research and implement methods to enhance the value of the production process.

·      Prepare efficiency reports for the product group and present them to managers.

·      Monitor inventory of materials used in production and communicate with relevant units as needed.

·      Ensure implementation of decisions made during production meetings.

·      Expedite resolution of inefficiencies to ensure smooth business operations.

·      Maintain accuracy of product stocks and rectify stock movements as required.

·      Identify personnel needs and report them to managers.
