QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Sales and Business Development Manager

Position description:

Paksan Makina San ve Tic. A.Ş, is a leading company in Automotive Industry since 1966.

Paksan Makina is looking for an experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to work in İstanbul Bağcılar and Bilecik Osmaneli locations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading sales and business development department in fulfilling its KPI. The candidate must have various customer contacts and network to successfully achieve sales targets.

It is expected candidates must be prepared before applying and job interviews. Candidates must review company website and understand the basic information about Paksan, automotive and machining industry.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing and sales activity such as on site customer visits, online meetings, cold calls. Responsible for increasing number of customers, turnover etc.
  • Achieve sales and customer targets
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
  • Responsible for preparing RFQ. Negotiate with customer.
  • Following and reporting related KPI of the department.
  • Oversee and assist between the period from RFQ to SOP.
  • Represent sales department in customer meetings and audits.


Qualifications

  • Who has bachelor’s and above degree on Mechanical Engineering. Preferably a minor degree on business administration
  • Minimum 5 years' of experience as business development representative. Ideal candidate must have vast sales network and contacts
  • Analytical thinking. Good leadership skills.
  • Vast network of customer contacts in metal industry is required.
  • Eager to have a career in sales department of a machining company.
  • Excellent MS Office and ERP skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, prerequisite of English speaking, reading and writing with a level of minimum C1.
  • Candidates prefered who can prove his/hers English level with an exam such as IELTS, TOEFL, etc.
  • Has no problem with communicating with foreign (English speaking) customers via phone, face to face or online meetings.
  • Excellent negotation skills. Able to provide quotations.
